2025 marks 30 years of Micah Projects.
While we've seen a lot of change, we hold the same goals: to achieve a community where inclusion, equality and diversity are valued.
We support people to move beyond poverty, homelessness, trauma, and isolation to realise their aspirations and dignity. This was the vision of the founding members, and we continue to hold the vision for a more socially just and inclusive society.
In 2023-24, we supported 27,695 people across Brisbane and Queensland. We have all kinds of partnerships with our participants, governments, business, community organisations, advocates, commissioners, individuals and philanthropic community.
30 years is a celebration of our community. Read about our story, a brief history of how Micah Projects has evolved into one of Brisbane's leading not-for-profit organisations, known for our unswerving commitment to social justice, since 1995.
To mark 30 years, we have created a T-shirt and Pin.
Our name and philosophy were inspired by the Prophet Micah: Act Justly, Love Tenderly, Walk Humbly.
Thank you for standing with us in our shared vision for social justice.
