Homeless to Home (H2H) Healthcare Network
We're shining a spotlight on the critical importance of health equity – ensuring access to quality healthcare for all individuals.
In line with this commitment, Micah Projects' recently reconvened the Homeless to Home (H2H) Healthcare Network to actively establish connections with various organizations spanning government, non-government, and community sectors. The network's goal is to address the gaps in healthcare delivery, specifically tailored to Brisbane's most disadvantaged groups.
Through collaborative efforts and knowledge sharing among a diverse range of health and social service providers, the H2H network strives to maintain vital connections between housing, support services, and healthcare. This integrated approach is particularly crucial in supporting individuals transitioning from homelessness to stable living conditions.
The reconvening of the Homeless to Home Healthcare network serves as an apt prelude to the release of the Health, Home, Hope Report. This research report, conducted in collaboration with the University of Queensland, explores Inclusive Health and Wellness Partnerships and effective strategies to promote health and well-being among marginalized populations.
