Update 8 October: Event at full capacity. No tickets remaining. Thanks for your interest. If you missed out this time, you can still get involved and support families in crisis.
___
Join us on Wednesday 15 October to talk about the reality of family homelessness and poverty in Brisbane and show solidarity with locals who need our support.
Right now, hundreds of Brisbane families are living in motels – not by choice, but because there’s nowhere else to go.
We’re asking our community to stand with local families who don’t have a home, by helping to fund a temporary roof.
Brisbane is facing a growing homelessness crisis, worsened by a lack of affordable housing and an overwhelmed social housing system.
